About Ms. Shelbey

Ms. Shelbey is a swim coach and certified American Red Cross CPR & Water Safety Instructor. Since 2002, she has successfully coached all ages how to swim. She also taught Beginner Swimming and Intermediate Swimming at Wingate University.

Born in Boca Raton, Ms. Shelbey grew up in the water. She swam on the Boca Mantas, Boca Middle and Boca High Swim Teams, and she was a part of the Fort Lauderdale Elite Junior & Senior Olympics Diving Programs. After graduating high school, Shelbey received an athletic scholarship to North Carolina State University and was a division 1 diver from 2002-2006.

Ms. Shelbey loves to teach kids how to safely swim in the water. With years of teaching experience and 3 kids of her own, she understands the importance of embracing each child's unique personality and tailors her learning experience to ensure she get the most effort out of the child. With her extensive experience and positive coaching style, kids will gain the confidence they need to excel in water safety. She looks forward to meeting your little ones and keeping them safe in the water!
